
Career Exploration
Career Exploration is a program where a provider assists the client in researching careers that the client might be interested in. The client takes a Department of Labor assessment to help determine careers the client might excel in and/or enjoy. The program is comprehensive and provides detailed information for the client to discuss with their vocational counselor.
Supported Education
Supported Education allows the client to receive assistance in researching educational institutions where the client can obtain training, degree, or certification for the agreed upon career goal. The provider may assist the client with school tours, enrollment process, financial aid, and other tasks related to going to school.
Disability Related Employment Services
Provider assists the client in creating a resume, cover letter, practicing interviewing skills, applying for jobs, being their advocate when requested. Job coaching may be provided depending on the client’s needs upon approval by the vocational counselor.
Rehabilitation Instructional Services
There are three categories available: Orientation to Disability; Orientation to Mobility; and Independent Living Skills.
Academic Tutoring
A qualified tutor provides services related to GED preparation, Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), college courses, state and vocational certifications (Barbershop, Certified Nursing Assistant, Cosmetology, Registered Nurse, and more). If it is an approved course, tutoring services may be provided.
