Life Coach
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. and one (1) year documented experience (preferably working with individuals with disabilities and involved in the provision of vocational rehabilitation services)
- Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Pass Central Registry
- Pass a consumer background check
- Pass E-Verify
- Minimum of 25 years of age or older with a clean driving record
- Ability to multi-task, work flexible hours, submit progress reports
Tasks and Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Disability Related Employment Services to adults with disabilities:

- Teach skills necessary for the client to:
- Develop resume, cover letter, and separate reference list
- Complete applications either online or hardcopy
- Utilize various job search websites, including, but not limited to, registering on each site, filtering for specific career outcomes, uploading documents, etc.
- Ensure client contact information such as email, phone contact(s) and voicemail is professional and appropriate
- Complete mock interviews to develop interview skills
- Specific to employment goal, develop job sites, complete work analysis for needed accommodations, conduct direct job placements, etc.
- Assist client in actively seeking employment opportunities, speaking with potential employers, obtaining and completing applications, and increasing networking opportunities
- Monitor the client’s progress and provide ongoing support and feedback throughout the provision of employment services (on-site job coaching, telephone and email support post-employment)
- Teach skills necessary for the client to:
- Provide Career Exploration Services to adults with disabilities:
- Assist client in researching career path options and determining a job goal
- Provide Supported Education Services to adults with disabilities:
- Assist client with specific tasks assigned by Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor related to post-secondary education goals
- Provide Rehabilitation Instructional Services to adults with disabilities:
- Orientation and adjustment to disability
- Orientation and mobility
- Independent life skills
- Complete monthly progress notes
- Submit in a timely manner in the appropriate format
- Submit client attendance records
- Attend any trainings or meetings that EES asks you to participate in
